The end of bees or people?
Now, that’s a dramatic question! The second book in my middle grade adventure series is finished and ready to take you on a wild ride. It’s designed for 7-12 year olds, but I’m hearing from quite a few adults that they enjoyed it, too. My daughters have given me their verdict and they say it’s way better than The Slithering Goliath (the first book in the series). I’ve decided to take it as a complement. But, now I’ve got the pressure of making sure every future book is better than the last one. Otherwise, I’m sure they’ll have no problem telling me I wrote a stinker. That’s the glory and horror of honest feedback. Haha!
Here’s the blurb:
“Twelve-year-old Bailey Best discovers that bees are dying off in record numbers. Not good. No bees means no more strawberries, cherries, and a hundred other delicious foods. So with her family’s help, she decides to do her part to save them.
A backyard beehive.
But what starts out as a small solution quickly turns into a gigantic problem. A super swarm sized problem! And before long, the entire town is in danger while special FBI agents arrive to catch whoever is responsible for the impending bee apocalypse.”
And it’s only $0.99 for a limited time! (It’s normally $2.99.) It’s also available in Kindle Unlimited and can be read for free if you are a member.
Thanks for reading!
